I’m usually a night owl, except when I have an exciting project and warm weather
I woke up before the sun and my brain started working and I knew I should just get up and get started. So by 2 pm when the rain got heavy, I had done the following:
-Walked the dogs
-Unloaded the van
-Wasted 45 min. on a new electric chain saw that kept throwing it’s chain
-Finished cutting the log with a hand saw
-Moved the big log with my neighbor’s tractor (still need to cut the other end and branches off)
-Made the “stepping stones” walk with the logs
-Raked the puppy level area & got a blister in spite of wearing leather gloves
-Rebuilt the puppy level area
-And fixed a broken Pop-up to use the frame to hold the ‘curtains’ of stuff for the dogs to walk through
Then, while it was raining, I went to get the fence posts that were being held at the post office because they were “too heavy”.
Then I went to the tire shop and got 8 tires that are about the same size and look slightly smaller than a standard car tire. They should be perfect for the hanging tire obstacle!
Today, so far, I have unloaded the tires from the van and got them in place,
Dug in the big tire obstacle,
And painted the boards for the ‘plank with obstacles’ feature.
