
Coming soon! This level has some obstacles that take great balance and proprioception. The dog needs control and agility as well as confidence. Dogs that complete this level are true masters of the canine confidence course!
Handler agrees to accept and assume the risk involved in working on the canine confidence course.
Dogs must have completed the puppy level and basic level first. To complete the Master Level, the dog must be able to correctly do the following in a safe and confident manner without assistance on appropriately sized obstacles at least twice:
___ ___ Dog will jump onto a sturdy elevated surface that is 1.5 to 2 times his height
___ ___ Dog will jump over an opening (between sturdy raised surfaces) that is 1.5 (+/- 4”) times as wide as the dog’s height and not more than twice the dog’s height off the ground (12” dog will jump over an 18” to 22” opening that is no more than 24” off the ground)
___ ___ Dog will jump from one height surface to another height surface that is higher or lower than the first surface by at least the dog’s height and that is not the ground.
___ ___ Dog can cross the swinging bridge
___ ___ Dog can walk through the swinging barrel with all 4 feet making contact
___ ___ Dog will crawl between two solid surfaces (“Squeeze tunnel”) that is the height of the dog’s shoulders/withers when the dog is lying down in the sphinx position
___ ___ Dog can be sent to perform 3 different Basic level or Master level obstacles from 20’ away (only 1 of the obstacles can be a jump)
___ ___ Dog can cross the Master level horizontal ladder
___ ___ Dog can climb the vertical ladder (no jumping)
___ ___ Dog can walk through the squishy pit
___ ___ Dog can walk the length of the balance beam including a 90* turn
___ ___ Dog can go over the log steps
___ ___ Dog can independently climb and descend the high, open backed stairs
___ ___ Can be pulled at least 15’ while sitting, standing, or lying down in a sled/plastic box, wagon or wheel barrow
___ ___ Can BACK through The Narrows on cue
___ ___ Can BACK along a 12’ raised plank
___ ___ (optional) Dog can walk across the horizontal ropes
